What did Suno Pro really cost?

A real subscription payment gives us a starting number. It does not tell us the cost of a finished song until we record how that subscription was used.

On September 7, 2026, the CreatorCost founder paid USD 10 for Suno Pro. The bank card was charged CNY 67.11. That is the confirmed cash expense for this payment. The card amount, rather than a later exchange-rate estimate, is the number entered in a CNY ledger.

Why that is not the price of one song

Suno Pro is a subscription. It can support multiple generations and projects during its billing period. Charging the full CNY 67.11 to one song would overstate that song's cost if the subscription was used elsewhere. Dividing by a guessed number of generations would be just as misleading.

The music project 玄音松风 also uses other tools, including H3, Jimeng and Jianying. Their confirmed payments and usage have to be recorded before its complete production cost can be calculated. This diary therefore reports a verified payment, not a claimed total project cost.

How we will calculate the project share

1. Record the actual Suno payment once: CNY 67.11 on September 7.
2. Record the total Suno uses for that billing month when known.
3. Assign the uses that belong to each song or project. CreatorCost then estimates its share of the subscription.

The useful distinction

Monthly spend answers “How much money left my account?” Project cost answers “How much of that spending did this creation use?” Keeping both views prevents a subscription from being counted twice and makes the estimate easier to audit.

This is one founder-recorded payment, not a market average or a promise that every AI song costs the same amount. As more confirmed expenses are entered, this diary can show a fuller breakdown.
